We make every effort to package your products carefully for shipping. However, sometimes accidents occur and we want you to be happy! Please read below for our policies.

Items damaged due to shipping

We make every effort to package your items carefully for shipping. Due to increased and high volume shipping, some damage may occur due to carrier. If you receive a package that is clearly damaged:

If outer shipping container is clearly damaged and has affected your purchase, please contact your local UPS carrier for recourse. We recommend taking photos. Dogwood & Cardinal and its affiliates are not responsible for damage that occurs due to UPS handling and/or holidays/delays once packages leave our possession.

Items damaged due to defect

If upon opening shipping container, damage has occured due to defect (leakage from improperly sealed bottle, for example) please contact us immediately (within 3 days of receiving) and do not open product. We may ask for photographic proof.

If it is determined that Dogwood & Cardinal is responsible for defective item, we will replace at no cost to customer. Dogwood & Cardinal  and its affiliates are not responsible for damages due improper handling (leaving delivered package out in elements) or theft.

Incorrect/Incomplete order

We try to get everything processed quickly and efficiently so that you can get your products in a timely manner. Sometimes we may mess up and you receive someone else's goodies or we leave something out. For that, we are sorry (to the both of you!). If this should happen, please accept our apologies and see below for steps to follow to ensure we get your product to you in a timely manner.

  • You must notify us within 3 days of delivery via "Contact Us" link below. Please provide order number, date of order and other pertinent information such as what you received/didn't receive. Please do not open the incorrect item.
  • Incorrect item? We will assess the issue and may send a return pickup (at our cost) for incorrect item. Upon our receipt. we will reissue the correct item to you in exchange. If we do not receive the original, incorrect item we will not issue a refund/exchange.
  • Missing item? Our apologies! Please let us know what we missed and we'll ship it out to you at no extra cost.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items may not be refunded/exchanged such as perishable goods (olive oils, chocolates, etc...). Custom items or products, custom gifts, wedding favors, bulk items, etc... are non-refundable. Undeliverable packages will not be refunded. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items.
